In a subsequent interview with the Huffington Post, the pair questioned why the New York Times rarely reviewed their own books positively -- if at all -- even as they perched atop its best-seller list.They had a point. Following up on their allegations, Slate confirmed that over 60 percent of books reviewed in the New York Times in the preceding two years were written by men.
